Your support of Post 40 and its officers is needed.  The officers cannot do it all.  To make Post 40 grow it takes volunteering.  Please do what you are able and willing to do.  Now is the time to start thinking about upcoming events.  Ask questions of current officers to get an understanding of what's needed.  New blood and ideas are needed.

Changes after Installation - Commander - Bob Oliveria,  1st Vice Commander - Vacant.

Bingo

Bingo is played every Monday night. (NO SMOKING ALLOWED). Income from bingo is vital to Post 40 if bills are to be paid.  There is a dire need for more volunteers to help keep bingo going.  One night a month is all that's asked.  The future is up to you.  Training is free.  Martin Summann is chair.  Anyone wishing to volunteer to work Bingo should contact Martin.

BBQ Fundraisers

Post 40 conducts 2 BBQ plate fundraisers.  One early November and one in the spring.  Success requires that tickets be sold in advance.  As with all events, support our post and community.  Besides ticket sellers, there is a need for kitchen help, preparation and distribution.  The BBQ chicken cook team can use assistance from those that love to BBQ.  You are going to eat somewhere, why not support your Post 40 twice a year.

Concession Trailer

The concession trailer events include, July 4h, County Fair, River Sound Homeowners Association, Boogie on Broad and other events.  As always, volunteers are needed to support these functions..

Cook Team

Post 40 has a commercial kitchen that, with a chef/cooks, can cater meals for family reunions and other large gatherings.  Chef/cooks are needed. If you love to cook contact Commander Stephens at info@post40edenton.com or call 252-482-4057.
