Bingo
Bingo is played every Monday night. (NO SMOKING ALLOWED). Income from bingo is vital to Post 40 if bills are to be paid. There is a dire need for more volunteers to help keep bingo going. One night a month is all that's asked. The future is up to you. Training is free. Martin Summann is chair. Anyone wishing to volunteer to work Bingo should contact Martin.

BBQ Fundraisers
Post 40 conducts 2 BBQ plate fundraisers. One early November and one in the spring. Success requires that tickets be sold in advance. As with all events, support our post and community. Besides ticket sellers, there is a need for kitchen help, preparation and distribution. The BBQ chicken cook team can use assistance from those that love to BBQ. You are going to eat somewhere, why not support your Post 40 twice a year.

Chowan County Regional Fair will be September 26 to September 30. The CCRF Board and many volunteers have planned an amazing "WAGON WHEELS TO PIG SQUEALS" AT THE CHOWAN COUNTY REGIONAL FAIR. This is the 78th annual CCRF, an amazing accomplishment for a totally volunteer effort. Opening night, Tuesday will be CAR LOAD SPECIAL. $75.00/CAR WITH UP TO 6 PEOPLE.
