EDWARD G. BOND POST 40

There will be a Memorial Service held at Edward G. Bond Post 40 on Saturday, Decemberr 3rd from 1pm to 3pm.

Post 40 serves the veterans and community of Edenton and neighboring communities.  Our members come from Chowan, Perquimans, Pasquotank and Bertie Counties.  They come because we have not only a premiere facility, but we have some of the finest veterans you will meet.

Our Post is privileged to have active veterans who saw combat on Iwo Jima, flew combat missions in Europe and Asia, served on ships in both the Army and Navy, protected our coastlines, and served  in every corner of the globe and all over this great land of ours.  You are welcome to meet them and build new lifelong friendships.

The American Legion has a long history of service to our veterans, but we also have programs to serve and support our communities, our neighborhood, and our youth.

We encourage you to learn more about the American Legion.  It will motivate you to join us in our quest to promote Americanism.

Why not drop by for our monthly meeting and join us.  We meet the first Tuesday of each month.  The business meeting starts at 6:30 pm.  Call 252-482-4057 to let us know you are coming and we will set a place for you!
